National Train Day is a holiday that is celebrated every year.
It was a holiday started by Amtrak in 2008 to spread information to the general public about the advantages of railway travel and the history of trains in the United States.
Come and join us at the Swanton Railroad Depot Museum to celebrate National Train Day! The Depot Museum will be visited by the Lake Champlain and Adirondack Railroad Club. They will be putting a model train on full display.
The Depot Museum will be open from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM on May 10 and May 11. Should be a fun time for both children and adults alike! Please come and visit!
